CBHS members get access to free* online medical services from Medmate including prescription renewals, express consults, telehealth consults and medical certificates. Medmate’s services are quick, easy and convenient, ensuring you get the medical support and medication you need without the hassle of going to a doctor. Medmate also offers medication delivery from our partner pharmacy network with delivery options available when you book an appointment or request a prescription.
There are no out-of-pocket costs for eligible members for these services. Simply enter your CBHS International Health membership when completing your request and we will take care of the rest.
Get A Fast Online Prescription
Fast online prescriptions do not require a telehealth consultation. Scripts are sent directly to a partner pharmacy in your area for pickup or delivery.
Express Online Consults
Unwell and need an antibiotic? Get an online consult instantly with Medmate. Simply choose the appropriate symptom category and answer some important questions about your medical problem. The doctor will then use this information to understand the issue and decide on a treatment plan.
Get A Medical Certificate
It’s important when you are unwell to stay at home until you recover so you don’t spread germs to your co-workers. Our doctors understand that it’s safer and more convenient for you to request a medical certificate online to save you the hassle of attending a medical centre in-person. Fill in a simple questionnaire to make it easy for the doctor to assess your current illness. The doctor may call you to get some more information or provide some helpful advice. Certificates are sent quickly and securely to your email address.

Who are Medmate?
Medmate is a telehealth service that offers online prescriptions, express consults, telehealth consults and medical certificates. Medmate also have an extensive partner pharmacy network that allows consumers to shop their local pharmacy and have their medication delivered.
How much does it cost?
There are no out-of-pocket costs for eligible CBHS members for Medmate’s telehealth services. Simply enter your CBHS International Health membership when completing your request and we will take care of the rest. This does not include the cost of the medication and any service fees that are involved in delivery.
How does delivery work?
Simply enter your address when completing a prescription request, medical certificate or express consult form and the delivery options available to you will be displayed. Medmate offer a number of delivery methods including 60 minute, same-day, next-day and 3-5 day. The cost of delivery is also covered by CBHS.
What CBHS membership details do I need?
You will need to add your valid membership number, individual reference number (see below) and your expiry date.
