Yes, if you have a Medicare card, your pathology test will be bulk billed. However, it’s best to check with the lab when having your blood test to confirm that all tests in the panel are covered.
The listed price covers the private fee for the telehealth consultation.
If you don’t have a Medicare card, private fees will apply for the pathology test. Please speak directly with the pathology lab for pricing details.
All consultations are conducted in real-time via telephone or video to assess the clinical need for pathology investigations. Our doctors take a thorough medical history and only order investigations that are clinically indicated.
Test results are securely provided through MyHealthRecord and are reviewed by the referring practitioner in accordance with RACGP standards. To ensure comprehensive care, our practice nursing team coordinates a robust recall system to manage results.
Results are discussed in follow-up consultations, and our clinicians are able to provide detailed reports to patients’ regular GPs to facilitate ongoing medical care.
